The Original Thread is all about creating original pieces that are beautiful and tell a story. A story where the whole process can be traced from design concept through to making the product and finally letting go of that product to a new owner. A product that has a beginning, a middle and an end.

I am originally from New Zealand, currently living in Bedfordshire, UK. I design all my own fabric digitally but do like to add organic texture with combining watercolour paintings to the digital process. I use both my own designer fabrics as well as vintage fabric and also beautiful Italian leather to create unique accessories, homeware and giftware.

Every piece has been lovingly handmade.
